about Figurka Design

Figurka Design is a small toy design workshop in Hungary, Budapest run by me. We make unique handcrafted dolls and other various creatures, not only for kids.

 

The story began in September 2008 when I bought my first sewing machine and made my first dolls for my kids and  friends. A couple of months later I gathered all my confidence and made my works bublic at the monthly Hungarian Design Market (www.wamp.hu) in Budapest. And it was success. Since then we have been participating in design and craft fairs besides running our online shops. 
We have a productive cooperation with the Rehabilitation Center of Disabled People (www.merek.hu) in Budapest, our goal is to connect valued design with taking on Corporate Social Responsibility.

 

The dolls are 100% handmade so each of them is different. Thanks to the premium quality materials we use our dolls are child friendly, durable, washable and sooo huggable. They are safe for small babies as well, since there are no removable parts and we use safety eyes.
We happily take custom orders.
